Consultancy

  • We are keen to support different groups and organisations both within Gloucestershire and beyond. We can provide:

    • Off the shelf or customised training to help organisations become more inclusive
    • Advice and guidance regarding inclusion or the development and delivery of inclusive projects
    • Guidance on developing programmes in other parts of the country equivalent to our Gloucestershire Of Course We Can programme
    • External evaluation of a wide range of inclusive work

Contact Philip Douch, Chief Executive, to discuss any ways in which you think that Active Impact could support you in developing your work.

    Currently we are working with:

South Cotswold Parent Carer Support Group

Working with the parents on the support group to introduce developmental work in addition to the existing mutual self-help.

This will enable disabled children and families to have regular contact, social activities and links with non-disabled young people.

    Westonbirt Arboretum

A programme of customised training for staff and volunteers across the organisation, helping to develop a more inclusive ethos and greater practical inclusion of disabled people at this visitor attraction.

Marches Family Network Charity /Herefordshire Council

Acting as advisor/part time development worker in support of a charity that has traditionally provided groups and holiday schemes for disabled children – now enabling the charity to develop a programme fostering inclusion across the county under contract with Herefordshire Council.

West Oxfordshire and Cotswold District Councils

Advising on and co-developing the development of an Inclusive Award scheme, recognising local community groups and organisations that are genuinely committing to become more inclusive.

Our support to set up the Award scheme elsewhere will be available in the coming months.
