Networks of support you can join

We jointly host inclusion network meetings throughout the year.  These are held jointly twice a year with separate network meetings in the summer term.

Join us at our ‘Aiming High’ network meeting to catch up on the latest developments in inclusive arts, leisure and sports activities from across the county.  The meetings are for anyone interested in leisure and social opportunities for disabled children and young people  – aimed at providers of activities and services, and open to interested parents too. Open to any organisations who welcome disabled young people (0-25 years) or those who would like to be more inclusive.

Gloucestershire Active Inclusion Network (GAIN) brings together individuals from a diverse range of organisations who are interested in developing sport and physical activity opportunities for disabled people in Gloucestershire. As well as providing information on local funding opportunities, GAIN enables disabled people, activity providers, charities, community groups and health professionals to effectively network and to establish working relationships that open up new and exciting physical activity opportunities. The forum meets three times annually at a variety of venues throughout the county.

Here is an example of a recent meeting’s main speakers:

Meet Gilson, the new Deaf Youth Participation Officer from GDA and Active Impact’s new Development Manager, Nicole, who is launching the county’s first printed and online guide to being inclusive of disabled children.

Discover ‘Table Cricket’ with a presentation from Cerebral Palsy Sports. Find out about grant opportunities from The Rotary Club and receive a useful update on Safeguarding.

Friendly, lively network meetings to help boost your inclusive practice!
